NEED A STAND TODAY?
SHAKE TEST APPROVED, CRITTER PROOF, AND ROT RESISTANT
All steel and powder-coated elevated hunting stands that only require two tools for assembly - 9/16” wrench and a power impact drill. Eight corner- to-corner angle braces give this elevated hunting stand a superior structural design.
SAFE ENTRY AND EXIT
A standard 40”x 60” deck won’t have you leaning, twisting, and turning when entering the blind. The safest way to enter and exit an elevated stand is to be standing at the same level as the door.
UNEVEN GROUND? LEVEL UP
Built-in leveling systems level up the stairs and the base, so your stand is level, even when the ground is not.
LOCK DOWN SAFETY ANCHORING SYSTEM
Seven-point anchoring system keeps your stand upright and locked down – for your safety and the safety of the product - even when not in use.
SLIP RESISTANT TREADS
Safely climb the ladder or stair no matter the weather.
How to choose your stand
Every Orion tower is built the same way in Iron Mountain, Michigan: all US steel, a full 40" x 60" deck, 1,000 lbs of capacity and two tools to put it together. What changes from model to model is two things: how high you need to be, and how you want to climb. Answer those two questions and you've picked your stand.
The short answer
5 FT
Brush, rolling ground, bow range
Clears brush and tall grass without sticking up over the cover. The easiest tower to place and to climb.
10 FT
Food plots, field edges, standing corn
Sees over standing corn and thick cover, with longer shooting lanes. The middle of the lineup, and it fits most ground.
15 FT
Big fields, open country, long shots
Our tallest tower, for when you need to see over everything. A wider base keeps it planted.
Want the easiest climb? Choose stairs. Want to save money and ground space? Choose a ladder.
Step 1: Pick your height
Height buys you three things: a longer view, your movement out of a deer's line of sight, and room for your scent to carry over the deer. Go higher than your ground needs, though, and you're climbing farther for nothing and shooting at a steeper angle.
- 5 ft fits rolling and hilly ground, tight timber and small plots, where a taller tower would stand out. It's a good bowhunting height, since close shots stay at a natural angle.
- 10 ft fits food plots, field edges and anywhere standing corn or brush would block a lower blind. It works for bow or rifle.
- 15 ft fits large ag fields, cutovers and open country where you want to see and shoot a long way. It's built for the rifle hunter.
Hunting flat ground with no cover to clear? The 12" Ground Leveling Stand lifts your blind off wet ground and levels it, no tower needed.
Step 2: Ladder or stairs?
Every height comes both ways. Same tower, same deck, same capacity. Only the climb changes.
Stairs
Big-grip treads and handrails, so you climb facing forward with a hand free. They're the easy choice for kids, older hunters, anyone carrying a pack or a rifle, and every climb in the dark. The higher the tower, the more they're worth.
Ladder
Costs less and takes up much less ground. A ladder saves 35" of length at 5 ft, 61" at 10 ft and 94" at 15 ft, which matters on a tight lane or a small clearing. Slip-resistant rungs and the full deck at the top make it a safe climb.

Match your blind
Every Orion blind, in every size, mounts to every Orion tower on the 48" x 48" platform. A 9/16" wrench bolts the floor panel down; everything above that is tool-free.
Not sure which blind? Compare all six Orion blinds. Want it all in one order? The ORIGIN Series package pairs a 6x6 blind with a 10 ft stand, and there's an archery version.
Built for every hunter
The wheelchair-accessible ramp pairs with the 12" Ground Leveling Stand and an Orion blind with the ADA door, which has a zero-threshold entry, so a wheelchair rolls straight in. Building on your own posts? The DIY Stand Platform Kit gives you the steel platform, deck and handrails.
Questions hunters ask
How high should a deer stand be?
High enough to clear the cover between you and the deer, and no higher. On rolling ground or in brush, 5 ft is usually enough. Over standing corn, thick cover or a food plot, 10 ft. For big open fields and long shots, 15 ft.
Is a ladder or stairs better?
Stairs are the easier, safer climb, especially with gear, in the dark, or with kids and older hunters. A ladder costs less and takes up less ground. Either way, every Orion tower has a full 40" x 60" deck at the top, so you step into the blind at door height.
How much weight can an Orion stand hold?
Every Orion tower is rated for 1,000 lbs, at every height, with a ladder or stairs.
What do I need to put it together?
Two tools: a 9/16" wrench and an impact driver. No heavy equipment. Every tower uses 3/8" hardware and ships flat to fit in the bed of a standard pickup.
How is the stand anchored?
With a 7-point anchoring system. Rebar and auger anchors come in the box, and built-in leveling feet square the stand up on uneven ground.
Can I put an Orion blind on the ground instead?
Yes. The 12" Ground Leveling Stand lifts the blind off wet ground and levels it, and it pairs with the wheelchair-accessible ramp for hunters who need it.
