Every size comes in two window layouts. Same blind, same insulation, same build. The windows are built around how you shoot, and the VT's extra windows add a little to the price.
T models · Firearm & crossbow
A mix of horizontal and vertical windows. The horizontal windows give you a wide, steady rest for a rifle or crossbow and a broad view of the field.
VT models · Archery
Mostly tall vertical windows. Come to full draw sitting or standing without ducking, with a clear path for your arrow. Close range is bow range, and the VT is built for it.

Put it up high
Every Orion blind, in every size, mounts to every Orion stand: 5 ft, 10 ft and 15 ft towers with a ladder or stairs, the 12" ground leveling stand, and the DIY platform kit. A 9/16" wrench bolts the floor panel to the platform. Everything above that is tool-free.

Questions hunters ask
Which Orion blind is best for bow hunting?
Any VT model. The tall vertical windows let you draw and shoot without ducking. For one or two bow hunters, the 55VT sits tight to the trail. If you're bringing a partner or a cameraman, the 68VT gives you room to draw without bumping elbows.
Which blind is best for hunting with kids?
The 68 or the 78. The extra floor space means a young hunter can move, stretch and stay comfortable through a long sit. That's usually the difference between a kid who wants to come back and one who doesn't.
What's the difference between the 55T and the 55VT?
Only the windows. The 55T has four horizontal windows and one vertical, set up for a rifle or crossbow. The 55VT has five vertical windows and two horizontal, set up for archery. Size, insulation and build are identical.
How long does an Orion blind take to set up?
Five to ten minutes, with no tools. The panels latch together in sequence with the Quick-Latch System. If you're mounting it on a tower, you'll need a 9/16" wrench to bolt the floor panel down.
Will an Orion blind fit on a tower I already own?
It fits every Orion stand. On another brand's tower, check its platform against the blind's exterior footprint and weight in the size table above before you order.
Can I heat an Orion blind?
Yes. The insulated panels hold heat in, and the standard door has a pass-through port for a heater hose or cord. Every blind comes with three 4" vents for airflow. Always use a heater rated for indoor use and keep the vents open. (The ADA door option trades the port for a zero-threshold entry, so a wheelchair rolls straight in.)
